I haven't posted because I just don't know what to say. I'm just so devastated and heart broke. We lost our Polar Bear last week. It's been horribly difficult to bear.
I am sorry to hear that. Losses can be very tough. I know I have had two that I thought I would never get over and I haven't really to be truthful. The pain eases but it never goes away. My prayers are with you. Be soft with yourself and allow yourself the time to grieve.
Sorry for your loss,I know what it's like to lose your best friend. It will take a while,a long uphill struggle ,My thoughts are with you,try to be strong. Blessings Jane
so sorry for your grief. the love of a good dog is a special thing.I think Lord Byron said it best for his beloved dog Boatswain in his "Epitaph to a Dog"
Near this Spot are deposited the Remains of one who possessed Beauty without Vanity, Strength without Insolence, Courage without Ferosity, and all the virtues of Man without his Vices.
This praise, which would be unmeaning Flattery if inscribed over human Ashes, is but a just tribute to the Memory of BOATSWAIN, a DOG, who was born in Newfoundland May 1803 and died at Newstead Nov. 18, 1808.
There are just not words. I have one dog, and I can not imagine what you're going though. Sending prayers your way, and wishing him a big old beef bone up there in heaven!
This is my first visit in months (had some personal stuff to work out). What sad news greets me. Take all the time you need to grieve his passing, we will be here for you when you are ready to come back. Take care.
Feeling your pain, EM, all so very well. Lost Sheebs, my favorite girl, last week. The empty spot aches too much. Sometimes I feel a tinge of guilt about loving dogs so much more than I do people, but that's as it should be: I've never met a dog I didn't like. Can't say the same about people. Peace be unto you and yours. There's something special about someone who feels the loss of their Friend. Shy III
Yes, all of 2013 and part of 2012 are missing from the blog. You can thank Mike H for that. Almost all of those posts were about our great friendship and our partnership in farming. You all know how that turned out!
