I just found out I've lost a friend. One I was pretty fond of, even tho I'd never met him in person. You see, GrumpyUnk lived just a little bit too far for me to go visit for a couple hours. We talked about a weekend get together but it just never happened. 100s of emails about life, gardening, prepping but now my friend has passed on. GrumpUnk lost his fight with cancer.
Goodbye my friend, rest in peace and I'll see you finally some day.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing anyone you care about is hard whether they're next door or far away.
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry about your friend! My thoughts and prayers are with you and all that were close to him. I have lost quite a few online friends over the past couple of years... most I have never met in person, but even though we don't meet them 'in person', we still get to know them well, sometimes even better, because we seem to get to know what is inside - their very core - much better this way. And losing them hurts just as bad as losing one of our physical world friends... maybe even worse, because we never got that chance to actually look into their eyes or give them a caring hug. A warm, comforting hug to you.
ReplyDeleteSorry for your loss. I guess the only comforting thing I could say is that he is now in a place where he is no longer sick and is at peace.
ReplyDeletei send you my most sincere condolences..
