Check this out......

It's my tooth! The bad tooth that has been plaguing me for the past couple of months is finally gone. I really got to chew my supper tonight! Oh, it's been tough cooking and baking, knowing I wouldn't be able to enjoy what I prepared. The worst part of it is, that tooth isn't rotten. It's doesn't even look damaged. Oh well, it's gone now and I don't have to worry about it!

Thank you to the angels of this world. People that care enough about others that they step in and help those who are in deperate need. Good people they are and I am truly grateful.
God Bless you and keep you.

  1. Awesome! I know most of the teeth I had pulled looked in pretty good shape, too. The dentist told me it was my gums, not my teeth, and because the gums got infected, my body treated my teeth as *invaders* and just kept sending in more white cells to do battle...eventually, it was the gums that formed the abscesses--loosening the teeth.
Remember to rinse your mouth GENTLY with warm salt water every day for a few days.
    Enjoy eating again!

  3. That's a huge tooth. Just the look of those pliers give me chills! It's great that you're finally able to get some food into you. You're making me think about mine, I have 5 that give me serious trouble off and on.

  6. Okay, did you pull this yourself or did a dentist? My Dh has a tooth( the filling came out and he's been threatening to pull it himself. It actually isn't hurting him, but food gets caught up inside the tooth, which can lead to serious infection or abscess.

We do 99% of our own doctoring, but I'm a chicken when it comes to teeth, PTL I have great teeth! I've only had one filling, when I was around 12 yrs old and several years ago that came out, which broke the tooth and couldn't be refilled, so I had the Dentist pull it( it was one of the farthest back molars, so no big deal.

Loved your interview on PL's podcast, btw!

Take care, we enjoy your blog. Our blog is pretty basic, but we're working on remembering to take photos and videos of our happening around The Never Done Farm*wink*

My one goal this year is to get past my feal of lye and make soap, maybe you could mentor us?
    Blessings,
    Kelle

  7. I have a little suggestion...I don't know if ya'll (people who read this blog) have noticed it or not...but off to the side there is a button to donate. It takes you to PayPal and it takes all of 5 minutes to do it. If you're sitting there thinking you don't really have enough $$ to help out...if everyone just gave $5 even that would add up and be a big help I'm sure. Someone asked about buying cheese to help...but she doesn't have the money for milk....anyone who wants to help could send what you would've paid for cheese...or soap. Just a suggestion...in America we vote with our dollars and I think we all forget that too often. Let's vote to see more people being responsible and taking care of themselves! (thank you...I will now step down from my soapbox:)
